WW2 CAPTAIN AMERICA ARMY HELMET/LINER/GOGGLES AWESOME 1ST AVENGR COSPLAY/DISPLAY

Description

This auction is for a fan made replica of the "Captain America The First Avenger" Army helmet, that "Cap" borrowed from an U.S.O. dancer to rescue Bucky's unit from the Red Skull.
The M1 infantry helmet is a repro or European clone steel shell and plastic liner with authentic ww2 style suspension. The helmet has been cork textured, painted and antiqued. A sewn on OD#3 chin straps sewn onto the swivel bale. The liner has a leather chin cup, and OD paratrooper
A-yolks installed; and a nape strap, liner chin strap and headband. The liner retains its original OD paint and sports a Capt. insignia decal. The new (modified) retro style Aviator Goggles add the finishing touch that really brings the look together.
Special care has been taken to replicate the look and spirit of the actual movie prop. I've seen many other nice examples that just miss the mark or quite don't make sense. Examples are the size and position of the white "A" , color of the helmet too dark or too low luster, it was swiped from a show girl after all. And, though the bales can not be seen in the film, and (although nice) what would the USO be doing with M2 (D bale) helmets.
I make these helmets one at a time from used helmets, minor scratches or dings may be present check pics closely for condition. Each is a little different, and hopefully more improved, than the one before. I also hope you like the newest incarnation. I think it's special!
Whether it's displayed or worn for cosplay this helmet really POPS!
