Qty of 1 - WWII Era WW2 cotton bandoleer for the American M1 Garand .30 cal rifle. Brand new Reproduction.
Load up extra ammo for the range or reenactments and be ready to go.
The bandoleer is stamped "Cal .30 Ball M2 8rd Clips LC 39375". M1 Garand bandoleer will hold 6 x 8rd clips of ammo or it can hold 15 rd magazines for the M1 Carbine. Used by all US soldiers in WW2 that used the M1 Garand including Infantry, Paratroopers, Rangers and Armored troops
The bandoleer is a lightweight 6 pocket bandoleer with an attached shoulder strap. Each pocket is designed to hold either M1 Garand 8 round enbloc clips or rounds on stripper clips (for the likes of the Springfield or Winchester rifles).
This w
as issued full of ammo and was a quick way to get resupply ammo to the front line troops. The Garand cotton ammo bandoleer was initially designed to be thrown away after the ammunition had been loaded into the webbing pouches but they proved a very popular way of carrying extra ammunition by wearing them across the body.
