I cant afford cable tv anymore, so i out up a tower and tv antenna in my yard and am selling my tuner.
the tuner was in use until about 3 weeks ago, and i was running media center on windows 7 with a few old x-box  machines as extenders.
comes as pictured, with an aftermarket wall adapter, the original wall plug transformer died a few years ago, and i had an old zip drive adapter with the proper voltage and amperage.
this is the tuner and adapter only, no software is included. you can download the software from silicon dust and get the app from the play store to view .

i have had this since new several years ago when they came out and cable started going all digital and i couldn't get channels without it. I have used this in the chicago area on wide open west cable and then comcast cable. the only issues i had were clueless techs who had no idea what to do with it, and dispatch not sending the tech with cable cards.   we had to try to try several cable cards before one worked. from what i read on the forums back then, the cable cards were finicky, and one will eventually work. after becoming disabled i moved to east Tennessee and had this hooked up to time warner/spectrum and it worked with the first cable card we tried. with spectrum we needed a tuner adapter box that hooked to the usb port on this tuner, but back in chicago with comacst and wow cable, i just needed a cable card without the adapter.
this is sold without support, i am not a help line, so please be sure you can figure out how to hook it up and use it.
