    Description

    I am pleased to present this phenomenal pair of George III sterling silver sauce boats, crafted circa 1813 in London under the hand of Master Silversmiths John Wakelin & William Taylor. This pairing exhibits extremely rare and desirable nautical themes with dolphin bases and scallop shell accents. The set remains in very good conditon, unmonogrammed without any notable denting or other condition issues aside from some old polish residue.
    The total weight is a hefty 62.3 troy ounces. Each boat measures approximately 8" x 5.675" x 7.5". A detailed provenance is available upon request, former ownership is linked to a prominent businessman & philanthropist.
