    Sherwin Williams started business in Cleveland, Ohio back in 1866
    Back in the early 1900's hardware stores were not allowed to sell paints in the open store area because they were
    flammable
    , the stores had to designate a special room to keep paints and varnishes. This sign would hang on it's bracket to the doorway entry of the Sherwin Williams paint room.
    This Sherwin Williams sign is made of porcelain and is double sided. The first 3 pictures are of the front side and pics 4 & 5 are of the the back side.
    The size of the sign is 12" wide by  8" high.  The bracket is 16" long.
