Original WW II Finnish Artic Birch Mosin Nagant 1891 Stock

Description

This auction is one for ONE (1) original WW II Finnish Mosin Nagant 1891 Stock. There is NO Handguard included.
The stock is made of Artic Birch and has the rounded finger groove interlocking upper and lower half. It is approximately 47 1/2 inches long.
The finger grooves are very tight and of the WW II rounded tips pattern.
The stock appears to have been stripped of finish or perhaps never finished, and it has the butt plate screw holes closed off with wooden dowels so you can drill new screw holes for the butt plate screws.
The metal fore end piece with attaching screw is in place.
Both front and rear sling attachment metal inserts are in place with all four screws present and sitting flush with the metal plates.
The steel cleaning rod lug is in place in the barrel channel.
The brass recoil lug plate with one nail/pin is in place inside the receiver cut out.
There is no recoil lug installed. There is a 9/16 inch circular arsenal repair installed on the left side 1 inch in front of the end of the lower stock. This plug is very tight and sits flush with the stock.
I see NO splits or cracks with the naked eye on this stock. There is one area located 2 inches behind the left forward sling plate where the stock has some small horizontal scratches/dents 1/2 inch long, very shallow.
The barrel channel and receiver routed areas look extremely sharp and well defined, same for the trigger guard routed out area.
This stock saw no heavy field use and is in overall excellent condition. The finger grooves are beautifully executed, a work of art.
