For sale is this beautiful, one-of-a-kind, hand fabricated Oilzum Motor Oil neon canopy sign.  Every aspect of this piece has been hand fabricated from raw materials including the incredible metal work that went into the can fabrication as well as the Oilzum sign face.  The can is constructed from laser cut heavy 16 gauge steel that was mig/tig welded and then powder coated gloss black with the bright, contrasting orange trim ring.  The fit and finish of this piece is top of the line.  The hand bent neon tubing fabrication is superb and has been executed by a master neon tube bender still bending neon glass tubing right here in the USA.
This focal point of this piece features a rare, special edition 15” hand made Oilzum gas pump globe lens mounted in a gas pump globe half body.  This lens has been hand crafted and kiln fired by one of the best known makers of new gas pump globe lenses in the Petroliana collector’s hobby.
This is truly a spectacular piece of neon Oilzum Motor Oil Automobile/Petroliana that you simply will not find anywhere else.  This piece is professionally assembled utilizing 100% new electrical components, transformers etc.  This one-of-a-kind piece would look amazing in any muscle car museum, man cave, toy box, hot rod garage, bar and grille etc.  This sign is approximately 48" across by 28" tall and about 10" deep making it perfectly sized to fit in just about any wall and ceiling height space.
This Oilzum Motor Oil sign is available for local pick-up to the winning bidder.  I can also facilitate shipping to the winner bidder if necessary.  If you will require me to ship this piece to you, the winning bidder must communicate with me directly (via ebay) at the conclusion of this auction to discuss and plan shipping arrangements.  If shipping is necessary, the wooden crate that this piece is mounted in will also be fully skinned in OSB sheathing so that the piece is 100% protected and will facilitate safe shipping and transportation to the winning bidders destination.  Any and all shipping costs and additional crating fees will be the responsibility of the the winning bidder and shall be paid to the seller before the item is shipped.  For local pick-up, this sign is located in Southern Illinois (30 minutes south of Marion, IL) right off of I-57 south.
