The AT-1096 is the lower antenna element for the MX-2799/VRC Vehicle Antenna, consisting of: AT-912/VRC Antenna Base; and 2 antenna elements; 1 AT-1096 lower antenna element which screws directly onto the antenna base; and 1 AT-1095 upper antenna element, which screws directly on top the AT-1096. The AT-1096 is only for the square antenna base; however the AT-1095 is the standard upper antenna element used on most VRC-12 and Sincgar Transceiver Antennas. THIS LISTING IS FOR THE AT-1096 ONLY.. These antenna elements are new in the package; from several suppliers. Unless you specify a specific supplier I will ship my choice. This element is 54" long, including the threaded portion. Unfortunately recent circumstances require this additional statement: This antenna element is only for the AT-912 Antenna Base. It will not fit any other base. If you DO NOT have an AT-912 base DO NOT buy this element because it will not fit any other base. If you take a chance, hoping it will fit your base, you can buy as many as you want, but when it doesn't fit, and it won't, that's your problem, don't file a claim with ebay saying it doesn't fit. If you have an AT-912 base (the square base) it will fit, but only that base.
