Another great old New England estate find!
Offered is a heavy porcelain enamel metal sign which advertised Goodyear Motorcycle Tires. Awesome graphics showing a motorcycle with rider, the Goodyear Mercury wingfoot logo and their trademark flag. The lower portion of the sign reads PROPERTY OF THE GOODYEAR TIRE & RUBBER CO. (Part of the word Goodyear is worn away.)
The sign measures approximately 12” in diameter and is convex. It is used and shows age appropriate wear with some chips to the enamel and rust as pictured. It is left as found and uncleaned for all serious collectors as many prefer original patina. Please view photos for overall condition as this sign is sold as is.
