    Description

    Up for bid is a neoclassical Federal style sterling sauceboat by Tiffany & Co.. The piece is about 3 1/8 inches tall at the ends by 7 ¼ inches long by 4 ¼ inches wide and weighs 192 grams.  It has a double lipped form with a threaded rim and stands on four shaped Federal style tab feet.  The piece has not been monogrammed.  The piece is marked “TIFFANY & CO. / 15602 B1 MAKERS 1827 / STERLING SILVER / 925-1000 / m” on the foot.
    Condition on the piece is fairly good.  There are some stubborn patches of tarnish, minor dings, and it rocks slightly on its feet.  A fine piece of silver!
