An antique framed map under glass, depicting the Theater of World War 1939 to 1945. The sub title is Key To Axis Movements Numbered On The Map. Copyright by C. S. Hammond & Co. N.Y. Beautiful walnut frame with glass front. The different movements are as follows, The Allies, The Axis Powers, Areas Occupied by the Allies, Areas Occupied by the Axis Powers, Vichy-controlled Areas (later to the Allies), Sphere of German U-boar Operations, Neutral States and Allied Advances. 27.25 inches wide by 21 inches tall. Map is 24.50 inches wide by 18.50 inches tall. We purchased this picture at a school in the History room. In depth details of pivotal movements and moments during World War II. Interesting read.
